Jeremy and Reetu Height - Nashville North and South Mission Areas Rally at Hendersonville Church of the Nazarene

The Heights began serving in 2024 as global missionaries in Croatia. Rev. Jeremy and Reetu are serving on the Central Europe Field along with their three children: Zane, Ruby, and Kavya. As Field Finance Coordinator, Reetu serves and resources the local churches and districts across the dozen countries on the Central Europe Field. Jeremy serves as the Nazarene Country Leader for Croatia and serves with local church and compassionate ministries. 

Previous to joining the Central Europe Field, Jeremy and Reetu have served the Church of the Nazarene in Nashville (USA), Accra (Ghana), Dakar (Senegal), and Indianapolis (USA) in various roles as missionaries, NCM leaders, and university faculty and staff. As an ordained elder, Jeremy has also served as a pastor in a variety of local churches. Reetu has a B.A. in Sociology & Intercultural Studies from Olivet Nazarene University and a M.B.A. from Trevecca Nazarene University. Jeremy has also a B.A. in Sociology & Intercultural Studies from Olivet Nazarene University and a M.A. in Urban Pastoral Leadership from Olivet as well. The Heights are passionate about cross-cultural engagement, urban ministry, poverty alleviation, and sharing the story of God's work through the global Church.

As a family, the Heights enjoy playing board games, sharing meals with friends around their dinner table, and traveling together. Zane (born 2017) loves reading, Ruby (born 2019) enjoys art, and Kavya (born 2021) loves cooking with her parents.

The Heights are excited to be a part of the work of God in Central Europe and are blessed to be a part of the global missions work of the Church of the Nazarene.

Russ and Carla Frazier - Deputation Tour

Since 2015, Russell and Carla Frazier have served as Global Missionaries in Nairobi, Kenya at Africa Nazarene University. Russ serves as a senior lecturer in the religion department and Dean of the School of Religion and Christian Ministry. In addition to teaching and supervising postgraduate students, Russ serves as a liaison for the Africa Region to a committee that is developing a French university which will provide education for French-speaking leaders in Africa. Carla serves as an assistant in the finance department.

The Fraziers are no strangers to missions. From 1998 to 2005, they served as missionaries on the Africa Region. They lived in Kigali, Rwanda and served the Great Lakes region of Africa, including the countries of Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Burundi. Carla administered the Child Sponsorship program in the Great Lakes region and assisted in the administration of the Bible institute. Russ served in a number of different roles: the coordinator of theological education, coordinator of Nazarene Literature, district superintendent, mission coordinator, and assistant to the Field Strategy Coordinator. In 2005, Russ and Carla resigned from the Global Mission contract to return to the States so that Russ could finish the Ph.D. and to provide more options for the education of their children in the English language. However, Africa was deeply imbedded within their hearts.

They are excited to serve the Lord in Kenya at Africa Nazarene University. You can find more about their story at www.frazierministry.com. Russ and Carla would love to share their story with your church. They desire to partner with you and your church in this ministry. The Fraziers have open dates from May 15 to June 30, 2023.

Martin and Cezi Glendenning Deputation Tour

Cezi and Martin serve as leaders of the Central Europe Field. Since November 2023, Cezi has been serving as the Field Strategy Coordinator (FSC) for Central Europe becoming the first native-born FSC on this field. Martin serves as the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) Coordinator for Central Europe as well as helping in Field Finance and Administration. They currently live in Zagreb, Croatia where they continue to serve in their local church, the first church in the Pioneer Area of Croatia.

Cezarina is originally from Albania. In 2001, she moved to Florence, Italy where she studied, worked, and served as an NYI leader, an NMI president, a church board member, and in other local ministries for seven years. In 2008, God called her to move to Germany and prepare herself for ministry at European Nazarene College, where she studied and graduated with a BA in Theology. In May 2016, she received a Master’s Degree from Northwest Nazarene University in Missional Leadership.

Martin is originally from the Mid-West, USA. He is a CPA and graduated from Mid-America Nazarene University with degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. In November 2017, he received a Master’s Degree in International Development from Kimmage Development Studies Centre in Dublin, Ireland.

Martin and Cezi have two amazing boys. Reuben, who was born in Germany in 2014, and Lukas, who was born in Hungary in 2017, are already world citizens. They have an American father, an Albanian mother, and were all four born in different countries. Both boys attend a Croatian-speaking school and are fluent in Croatian and English.

Martin and Cezi feel blessed to be serving God in Central Europe. Although raising a young family has drastically changed their daily activities, Martin still tries to find time to bike and Cezi continues to enjoy cooking, traveling, and hosting people in her home. Having lived in several countries, she has adapted several cultural cooking styles that her family is very fortunate to take advantage of.

They consider themselves blessed and fortunate to be able to be a part of what God is doing in Croatia and Central Europe.

Admirado and Celeste Chaguala - Nashville North and South Mission Areas Rally Nashville Grace Church

The Chaguala family, originally from Mozambique, are missionaries on a global assignment serving in the Africa Region. Admirado and Celeste Chaguala, alongside their children Noel and Shirley, embody a passion for serving their community and nurturing Christ-centered leadership.

Admirado and Celeste Chaguala have a rich history of ministry service in Mozambique. Admirado's leadership spans various roles, including local pastoral duties and spearheading multiple projects under Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM). Notably, he led the establishment of child development centers, WASH and nutrition programs, and district resourcing initiatives. Admirado's vision centers on cultivating Christ-centered leadership, exemplified by his oversight of constructing a leadership training center in northern Mozambique.

Celeste served as a typist of TEE (Training Extension Education) program, secretary at Seminário Nazareno em Moçambique (Bible College) and literature coordinator for the Lusophone Field (Portuguese speaking countries in Africa). She was engaged in developing resources for an extension education program and discipleship ministry in Mozambique. Celeste also served as the Regional NDI Coordinator for Africa. She currently serves as the Regional Personnel Coordinator for the Africa Region. Her passion is to see integral and intentional discipleship happening in the grass roots with more focus on children so that they grow as Christ followers. One key project that Celeste led was the translation and adaptation of Sunday school books into oral method in the main mother languages on the Africa Region in order to also disciple those who can’t read and write. Celeste’s personal motivation is to learn more of God, to grow spiritually and to be obedient to His call until the end of her days. Celeste holds a Master's in Pastoral Ministries from Northwest Nazarene University in the USA, augmenting her practical experience with academic rigor.

Admirado serves as the country mission coordinator for Mozambique and administrative assistant to the Regional Director for the Africa Region. His focus remains on leadership development, strategic networking, and ministry reinforcement.

Celeste's serves currently as the Regional Personnel Coordinator for the Africa Region.

The Chaguala family comprises of Noel, currently pursuing studies at Trevecca Nazarene University, and Shirley, a dedicated student in 11th grade. Noel's musical talents and Shirley's culinary pursuits reflect their diverse interests and contributions to their community.

High and Lifted Up

MidSouth District NMI would like to invite you to a special worship event we're calling "High and Lifted Up." The purpose of this event is to lift up, glorify, and celebrate the presence of God through music and to financially support the vital ministries of Nazarene Missions International by receiving a love offering. 

The event will feature a combination of popular worship songs as well as some fresh, new original worship songs. And it's our hope that you'll join the praise team and worship band by lifting up your voice on all of them!  We'll be joined by special guests, The Burchfield Brothers, and celebrated Christian musicians Dan Needham and Grammy award winning Eric Silver.

4th Annual Ice Cream Churn-Off - Alabaster Fundraiser

TCC is hosting our 4th Annual Ice Cream Churn-Off to raise money for Alabaster. It is a free event. People are invited to make homemade ice cream. People vote for their favorite ice cream by putting tickets into a jar by their ice cream of choice Tickets are $1 each. 

EVERYONE is invited to attend! Let us know if you are coming! Make your own ice cream and enter it into a contest. The prize for the best ice cream is a "gold" ice cream scoop!
